Phil Andrews - Comcast Sportsnet

I really have been enjoying Phil Andrews' coverage of the Eagles training camp for Comcast SN, he seems to give the station even more credibility. On WPVI football always seemed like his comfort zone, not that he did a bad job covering the other sports news. Andrews is not listed as "talent" on the Comcast SN website. I wonder if he is only going to cover football, then move on. Is it true that WPVI let him go after his contract expired because of his argument with Gary Papa at the Superbowl?

I like Phil too. He seems to have more creativity in what he says than when on 6. I guess that is because he gets more than 4 mins to talk.

What argument?

There was a write in the Inq and some talk on this board that Phil and Gary got into a heated argument with eachother at the Superbowl this year. Speculation was that it was over who was covering certain interviews. I do not recall anyone printing a definitive reason for the exchange though.
