Phil Cummings

Good luck to Phil Cummings, who retired yesterday after 52 years in radio.

I first heard him on WGBI... I know for sure he also worked at WEJL/WBAX, Traffax, and WILK.

Happy retirement!

Phil was a solid reporter both on radio and TV. He was a real gentleman, too.
Best Wishes.

I only worked with Phil briefly, while he was here at WEZX/WEJL but I enjoyed him so much. A great guy and truly talented. All the best Phil!

I'll never forget hearing Phil sub for Brian Hughes on the Rock 107 Traffax report- "Traffic Boy" just rolled off Brian's tongue as another phrase, but the first time Phil had to udder that he stumbled as in shock, then said it questioning. He took it in stride the rest of the times, but the 1st one was funny. Remember him from way back on WGBI, too. A real pro... Enjoy retirement Phil......
