Radio Equalizer (take for what it's worth) Brian Maloney is wondering if the addition of Phil
Hendrie (and the subtraction of John and Jeff, party people) --whom he feels probably
wouldn't get ratings (thus, not much of an improvement) means WTKK is angling to
get another TRN property: Michael Savage, from WRKO. Maybe TRN is upset that
Savage's slot keeps changing depending on whether or not the Sox are on. But hey who knows.
Will Amazing Grace pull this off? (Does this mean they'd dump O'Reilly?)

If Savage went to WTKK, what would WRKO run?
A Tom Finneran "radio rewind"? Or run Doyle
earlier, but what about 10 pm...keep in mind
that even if the Sox go all the way to the World
Series, baseball is over in just over two months and they need something for that slot.
Celts have moved to WEEI.
I did hear some Hendrie in the past and it wasn't bad, but word is that his new show has less
comedy/"voices". I don't know how successful it
would be.
John and Jeff seemed to have a bunch of people
working "the third shift" as listeners and J&J would read
shout outs to them (email your name and they'll
read it on air. Kind of like how the host on
Romper Room--Miss Jean?*-- would look through her magic
mirror: I see Teddy and Jane and Gina, and I
see Bobby and Richie and Shirley...)
