Phil Hendrie "Ground Breaking"?????

There is a banner ad here promoting Hendrie as "ground breaking." I heard better stupid stuff in the 80's from baby DJs just learning to be funny.
I am sure he is a perfectly nice dude, but please - that is NOT great and innovative humor. He was on TKS nights for a little while and I lost a good few centimeters of enamel from my teeth from grinding them while driving south with CCENG. Maybe it's a male humor thing, like the Stooges, but Kee-rist - "Ground breaking????"

I guess it's a matter of opinion and also an "acquired" taste for some, but I actually like Phil Hendrie. The Phil Hendrie Show is a refreshing alternative to para-normal overnight radio. To me Hendrie is, indeed, funny. Then again, maybe it's, as you described, a "male thing".
