Phil will be on from 10PM 'til 1AM Pacific Time.
He's up against Coast To Coast AM.
Will anyone listen to Phil?

It is funny that just the other day I was thinking that with boring presidential political climate as it is right now Phil Hendrie would have been a good antidote. I could see at the end of Phil Hendrie I that he was getting tired and had the lure of making it on television. For some reason, radio people have never really faired well on TV and vice-versa with few exceptions. Lush Rimbaugh (sic) had the same thing. It remains to be seen if he will be as good on "part deux."

Most people loved the character bits but Phil was always very entertaining when ranting or just talking about the day's events. He did 4 hours in the early days of the KFI show and less than half was characters, he took calls and just talked and it was great. And that is coming from someone who hates 90% of talk radio. There does seem to be a group of people out there that were turned off by his political rants that he did leading up to the Iraq war, again that surprises me because I found that they were always funny. I guess we'll find out for sure soon. I personally can't wait to hear the new show.

Hey - another syndicated right-wing talk show. Yay.

Huh ??? If you think Phil is "right-wing", you have another think coming....
First, this isn't a Mexican amnesty that Congress & Bush is trying to get passed. It is an illegal alien amnesty - granted the majority are lower class undereducated Mexicans - which is co-sponsored by some phony right-wing Republicans as well as loony left-wing Democrats. He could still be a conservative right-winger as there are many "business" Republicans who want this bill to exploit them (with slave wages and undercutting American legal resident/citizen wages). Liberal "open borders" Democrats see them as future votes. Most undereducated people are Democrats (who get welfare, entitlements etc. that Democrats love to bribe for votes).livingfruitvirus said:hay said:i always thought phil was more libertarian than anything else, but i can see how his views on the war and with national security makes him seem like a right winger to a lot of people.
He fully supports Mexican amnesty. Not very right wing if you ask me.

While Phil might be a good fit at 97.1, it's doubtful that they would blow up John & Jeff who syndicate their show from KLSX, but it's radio, so anything is possible...
