Phil Manning new PD 91X San Diego

FINEST CITY BROADCASTING Alternative XTRA-F (91X)/SAN DIEGO has hired PHIL MANNING as its new PD.

MANNING spent nearly a decade as PD at ENTERCOM Alternative KNDD (107.7 THE END)/SEATTLE. He left THE END eight months ago. MANNING's first day at 91X will be MONDAY, JANUARY 29.

I wish someone would pay me to quit my job. I wondered how he worked that deal.
 
Nothing like double dipping for a few months. Funny! Phil is good people and will
do well in San Diego. The big changes on the END since he left have done nothing.
Now that Entercom has sold off some stations, look for KNDD and the rest of the cluster to get some much needed promotion money.

By the way, Phil deserved the months of severence pay. He was in the market a long time.
