Phil Walden RIP

Phil Walden, the man who introduced the nation to Otis Redding and the Allman Brothers has died of cancer at the age of 66.Walden's Capricorn Records put the central Georgia city of Macon on the map in the 1960's and early 70's. In later years Walden re-launched Capricorn in Music City and helped spread the fame of Widespread Panic. Phil, you will be missed! Those of us lucky enough to be invited to your famous Lakeside Parties will never forget those wonderful days!
