Phil Walden, the rock emprasario who introduced such greats as Otis Redding and the Allman Brothers to the nation, has died of cancer at age 66.Phil's Capricorn Records put the city of Macon on the map in the late 60's and early 70's. In later years, Walden revived Capricorn in Nashville and helped spread the fame of Widespread Panic. Phil, you were truly one of a kind and you will be missed. Thanks for those great Lakeside paries of the 70's!
