Not all of them. 3 of 4, including a nice big gain for WRFF.

WYSP is flat, with cume down. During the Holiday book, they had a cume of 905,600. Two months later, during the February book they had a cume of 684,100. I guess something like a full quarter of their audience during the Holiday book was only listening during Eagles games.

WIP and WPEN both slip, but WIP slips further. For WPEN that's addition by subtraction, I guess.

Q-102 opens up a pretty big lead on WRDW.

106.1 is flat in share but gains cume. Which means more people are listening for less time.

WPHT continues to have a lower cume than WPST.

thats two books now that had big gains for wrff. Wasn't it just a couple months ago everyone was predicting 104.5 was gonna be Rush radio?

WHYY-FM still has far greater ratings than either 1210 WPHT or 990 WTNP. As WPHT's new live and local format is only a bit over a month old, it might take time for it to catch on and possibly challenge 90.9 FM for the top talker spot in Philly.

I don't like WOGL's mix of oldies, but apparently someone does as they are #3 in Philly, so that might be why they don't listen to us arm chair experts at RI, and continue to do what they do. How many markets have an oldies station in the top 3? So WOGL has found what works, oldies wise, for the Philly market. They've got listeners and tons of local spots. I just go on line now, as our work computers now let us stream online - this is a new development for my workplace, and have found oldies stations that I prefer. So I don't have to listen to WOGL to hear oldies music, but I doubt WOGL cares as they're carrying the market as #2 music station after B-101 and #3 overall.

One would hope no programmers actually would take advice from the armchair QBs on a message board. ;)

WRFF/Radio 104.5 has sounded MUCH better the last few weeks, and ironically I can't even explain why, but I can see I'm not the only one.

Wired is floundering a bit.

From what I have heard of RFF, in the last 6 months they are sounding better music wise and talking less, even thought they hardly talk at all LOL....BUT they never captured the sound they had at their launch, 4 years ago this June. Where are the sex pistols, screaming trees, Modest mouse, flys, 7 mary three, nixons and better than ezra, they had in their lineup, plus the great new alternative music they broke from Linkin Park, Papa Roach, etc., 4 years this summer was great for Alternative.
