Philadelphia Flyers bumped to WMMR

The Flyers were bumped from 97-5 The Fanatic to 93-3 WMMR not for a Sixers game, but for a Philadelphia Union soccer match, and a Temple football game. Do those two teams bring in more revenue than a Flyers hockey game, or is pay-to-play for the Union and the Owls?

It might be more of a programming decision. Beasley wants to put the Sixers, Union, and Temple on a station. WMMR probably wouldn't stop the music for those teams when there's a conflict, but you can make the case the Flyers, hockey and rock "go together".

Definitely a programming decision. Either that, or it's contractual (ie: Sixers, Union, and Owls can't migrate to another Beasley station).

I'd assume it's a contractual thing. Sixers signed first to be on the Fanatic, so the Flyers get bumped to WMMR if conflicting with them. Since they're already bumped for the Sixers, the contract could state they get bumped for other occasional sports conflicts as well.
