I do not like the anchors and reporters on the Philly TV stations right now because they are not good, talk way too fast, talk down to viewers in my view and don't even throw it to commercial anymore sometimes. I get easily upset when I watch the news because of the anchors and reporters conducting the broadcasts in a way to me is not in a professional and respectful manner so much I tried to avoid it on some nights. As much as I hate that, I will still watch the local news but these anchors/reporters need to change. I said a lot about the radio quality declining in Philadelphia, the TV news is starting to because of the talent and is it like this everywhere else in the USA? .

I will never move because I love Philadelphia. I been here all my life.
 
The former management allowed and even encouraged flaming Julius (and some others). It looks like anytime Julius makes a comment, some people feel entitled to take a cheap shot at him just for having an opinion.Every regular poster I can think of around here has had something critical to say about Philadelphia radio or television. (God knows criticism is deserved.) Nobody that I know of has moved yet. Wouldn't do any good any way. Radio and TV is no better elsewhere.This board is a public forum. Not an NAB or station public relations website.I checked the rules of the board. I did not see "If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all." I anyone thinks people who don't like Philly TV should move, maybe they should be consistent and stay away from this board if they don't like the posts.PS: The same individual who would disallow all criticism of local news from Julius, posted this here on March 02:

Julius is just being Julius...much like Fred is Fred and I am who I am. Just all a part of the fabric that is this board. Rave on, Julius; you speak the unvarnished truth to power, dude. 8)

Well apparently you don't love the tv newscasts, but love to complain about them.
 
The anchors on NBC 10 and FOX 29 Monday-Friday needs to go. I think they are really bad and not good broadcasters .
 
Ahhhhhhhhh, yes.....Tabloid 10! Can't stand em, no matter what time of day.Give me Eyewitness News any day!As far as FOX29, I am just biding my time on them, waiting when they switch to the FNC presentation.My favorite newscast anymore has become WFMZ's. I like their approach better "just the facts". The fluff pieces are kept to a mminimum and are not the main portion of the newscast. My news watching habits:5-6AM: Eyewitness News (CBS3)6-8AM: 69 News at Sunrise (WFMZ)8AM-12PM: FOX News Channel12-12:30PM: 69 News at Noon (WFMZ)12:30-4PM: FOX News Channel4-5PM: Eyewitness News at 45-6:30PM: 69 News Live at 5/Berks Edition/Live at 6 (WFMZ)6:30-10PM: FOX News Channel10-11: 69 News at 10/Berks Edition (WFMZ)11-11:35PM: Eyewitness News at 11 (CBS3)Overnight: FOX News ChannelDISCLAIMER: Most of the times that FOX is listed is via XM and I don't watch TV 24/7. When I am around the TV at said times, that is what I watch.
 
WCAU has not had good news since they were CBS. Boy, those days were sure good ones?
