Phillies on WYSP or WOGL?

Why can't CBS radio put the Phillies on WYSP, or WOGL for the world series. It seems to me they would get higher ratings, as well as giving the fans a better way to hear Kalas call the world sries games. Any thoughts?

There aren't too many real reasons to listen to WPHT in the first place - why make it one less?

Agreed, altho' CBS could do it like YSP/WIP does with the Eagles coverage (610 is more for in-stadium "real time" listening, while you could sync up the YSP coverage to the TV-cast).

Speaking of WIP, what could they possibly air that's going to have any listeners while the Phillies are playing in the World Series? Ike Reese taking calls about Week 6?

The Phillies are the hottest thing in town, and fans know they are on 1210. It's a familiarity thing. Why would CBS want to change that? But I agree with the post about them simulcasting, like they do with the Eagles on WIP and WYSP. Would WOGL really lose anything if they simulcasted the WS games? I can't imagine that their night ratings are that great.
