First off, those of you who want to bash me for a non-radio post, you can save it. I don't want to hear it. I posted it here, because it may be of interest for those in the Philadelphia area...or who grew up there, etc.

Now on to the said topic/subject: long-time Phillies organist Paul Richardson has passed away. Mr. Richardson died at his Wilmington home after battling a long illness. I have provided a link to the story on Channel 3's website.

Oh my...that's sad. I was a fan of Richardson's work and it was so cool seeing him do his thing field level the last couple of years at Citizens Bank Park. May he rest in peace.

Shawn, This belongs as a Radio Post.
Paul Richardson was a very close friend of mine and was on the Radio with me many times live at my station (he always brought donuts)
He also did two one hour Interviews with me from his home in Wilmington,De. Most recentley this past spring Just after he Retired and Just before the Phillies Opened the Season and told me off the air of his condition and I realized then his time was very short and stayed in touch with him throughtout the summer talking Phillies Basseball,he was very excited about the Phillies Turn arround after the all star break.
We talked less than two weeks ago about Him coming back the air with me if The Phllies won the Wild Card Race. He was going to be on with Me this past Tuesday, being the loyal Phillies Fan that he was,he stayed with us the Entire Phillies Season which ended Sunday.
He loved the Phillies and the Phillies loved him.
I always told him he was the SOUNDTRACK of The PHILLIES and indead he was !!!!!!!
He will be greatly missed by the Phillies and Phillies Management and ME, He was a true friend and class act.
REST IN PEACE MY FRIEND JPC
