Phillies radio status

Any word on what the Phillies flagship for 2012 is? It's been almost a month since the season ended and still no deal done.

Sundays, just before noon, 94WIP folks are on chennel 3 talking football. Yesterday was the first from their new stuidios. Something I noticed about their logo. The white circle in the "94" is a baseball. Could that indicate where the Phils will be next year?

Hopefully it is true. Baseball should be on FM. Especially with the massive signal of 94.1, which reaches Palmyra, PA despite WQKX.

Assuming CBS retains the rights, there is absolutely no reason why the Phillies shouldn't be on WIP now that it's on FM. And they should invest the money in doing the games in stereo like the Eagles do. They should also do the same things the Eagles do with the different delays on 610 and 94.1 during Phillies home games. There should be no delay at all on 610 when the Phillies are at home.

Also, I have a request for WIP. Could you increase the delay on Eagles games on 94.1 just a smidge? Instead of syncing it to the Comcast HD feed, how about syncing it to the Comcast HD feed as seen by someone using a Comcast DVR (which is ever so slightly behind live due to the buffering on the hard drive)? If you delay too much, we can easily compensate (by pausing the DVR until you catch up). Too little and we can't.

I am hoping for the Phillies to be on FM next season. That would make it easier to listen too.

The Phillies are going to be on 94.1 next year. https://twitter.com/#!/SportsTalkPhila/status/137726544834605056

Anybody enjoy the official announcement from the team and the station about this? Oh, yeah, there's never been one. Anybody else the least bit skeptical?
