Phillies World Series celebration coverage on local TV

I thought channels 3 KYW , 6 WPVI and 29 WTXF did a great job covering the celebration of the Phillies World Series win last night and early this morning. Those 3 stations stayed on the air past midnight covering the post-game celebration and player interviews. 10's coverage was non-existent because I don't think they broke into programming when the final out was recorded, yeah I know they had coverage on 17 WPHL for the 10 PM newscast but that should have been also broadcasted on 10 and plus WCAU didn't stay on the long like the other 3 stations did for the coverage. That's a shame what has happened to WCAU.

I agree, Ch6 & Ch3 were the best. They took you right into the action in multiple places and their live interviews with the players & staff were great. It was a thrill to watch, especially to see all the emotion from the players and the celebrating crowds converging into the streets live. Ch29 did a good job too. I also agree....what the heck happened to Ch10?? By the time they came on with their 11pm news coverage the initial excitement had passed and we were already engrossed in watching all the 'good' stuff on the other channels and had seen what they missed out on.

Does anyone know which TV stations in town will be airing the Phillies parade from start to finish Friday at 12 PM ET, if so, what are the start times for each station's coverage?

Well, the parade starts at 12 ET (helpful for those viewers in the other time zones...), so the coverage probably starts at around...12 ET. 3 and 6 have already said they'll have the coverage. (And for the soap fans, not sure what channel 6 is doing, but channel 3 said they're pushing the afternoon sudsers to begin at 2:05 a.m. I just wish channel 6 would run Millionaire on 6ABC Plus or whatever they call 6.2.)

Jim Gardner really delivered when he criticized the fans and radio (WIP) for how they treated Charlie Manuel in the early years. Way to go Gardner! The man is a legend!

He's the best, that's why he's been around for 32 years. Gardner was great today with the coverage on channel 6.

And, after being here in Philly so many years, Jim said how excited he was to be in the 3rd base dugout at the ballpark, being such a baseball fan.
