Philly 1061 now on RDS

WJJZ and WSNI were still Smooth Jazz and Sunny on my RDS font, until 9PM, when the WJJZ calls were gone and in place was Philly 106-1, title and artist still showing, as is with WSNI, but WSNI is still Sunny on RDS. Employees at CC early this week were saying this is a big stunt/hoax and what you think will not be on the stations you imagine. Both stations are changing but to formats not expected. But... with this new change on RDS I think Philly 106-1 is here to stay.

I think RDS displays can be changed quickly. 107.5..When they first brought RDS up a couple of days before the format flip it read 107.5 Alive WBYN and then on the day of the flip Franks info came up. (by the way their RDS as been off for some time now) Also the 97.5/94.5 swap (Hawk/PST) thier RDS flipped a couple of hours after the stations flip........and Wired 96.5....they had all sorts of things up during thier POINT/WILD/WIRED flip....even GO EAGLES during the NFL play offs. But as you stated it is strange seeing the Sunny 104-5 WSNI (title and artis) on RDS while Philly 106 is being heard. (on a side note...as I mentioned ion another thread.........I DO NOT LIKE WHAT THEY ARE DOING)

I wish that 104.5 would play 50's and 60's oldies.

And I wish Carly Simon would show up at my front door wearing nothing but a trench coat. ;D
