Philly stations and LV-Berks coverage; Opinions?

Even though none of the Philly stations even come close to Channel 69s coverage, what is everyones opinion on the amount of coverage (weather aside).

1. WPVI: Out of the four I think 6 does the best job. They are also partners with 69 so they can really get any story they want. They seem to have a least some mention of the LV-Berks daily.

2. WCAU: I think if 10 would stop using Stacey Weaver for "6:15" special feature stories they could do a better job. They also seem to use her for generic stories a lot that any reporter could do like "rising pizza prices". That was the best story you could come up with that day for the entire LV-Berks area? Since she is freelance; two or three days go by where there is no coverage at all. Stop being cheap and hire her full time.

3. WTXF: I don't see many stories from FOX 29, but when they do they usually do a decent job. Maybe appoint a full time reporter for the area.

4. KYW: They used to do a decent job, but ever since Liz Keptner got promoted they are in no hurry to appoint a replacement. I'm guessing her photographer got reassigned too since I rarely see any footage from the area. Except for a big event there is usually no coverage at all anymore.

Granted I know LV-Berks is in the Philly DMA. But except for news junkies, I really see no reason for someone from that area to watch WTXF or KYW when besides weather there is no mention of your area for days. Its always Philly this and New Jersey that. I can't really see many viewers from Lehigh-Berks-Northampton tuning in.

You sort of made your own argument with WFMZ. They have superior coverage of the area (and beyond, IMHO). Also, I find their reporting to be "straight down the middle/just the facts" than ANY Philly station. So much so that I will actually go out of my way to watch 69 News over the Philly ones, if it is on air.
