Philly's Favor 100.7 W264BH-FM

Thanks to Andy Travis for bringing this up.

I see that a new website has popped up https://phillysfavor1007fm.com/

It's apparently a gospel/ religious talk station that is supposed to take the W246BH translator? But hasn't USA Networks bought it already?

There's no contact page other than this address and "phone number"

4744 Tackawanna Street
Philadelphia, PA 19124
Phone: XXX-XXX-XXXX

FWIW- The address is for the north east baptist church, so I assume they have something to do with it.

Now...unless this is what USA networks planned to do, but I'm at a loss here.

This domain was registered in mid-February. One wonders if this group made an offer on the translator but was outbid.

According to RadioInsight, posted back on 2/28 (paraphrasing since it's behind the paywall)

Spectrum Development Group registered both PhillysFavor1007.com and PhillysFavor1007FM.com. So it looks like they were getting ready to launch Philly's Favor, and got an offer they couldn't refuse a few weeks later from USA Radio Networks.

But at the same time, the Philly's Favor Facebook page doesn't seem like it was started until around 3/22, AFTER the news broke of the sale to USA Radio Networks.

So who knows if USA Radio Networks will continue to air Philly's Favor when they officially take over.

Since I'm not out and about right now... quarantine and all. Does anyone know if anything is currently airing on 100.7?

WKVP 106.9 continues to air (take up space) on 100.7. Until something new takes over 100.7, this remains the most redundant translator on air.

Probably keeping the current "arrangement" in place while the transaction is processing so that prospective clients (those that may be local and not network spots) can get an idea of the pattern/coverage area. Can't keep it on with a primary feeding it... interesting with the website developments though, hmm...
