Just skimming my Internet radio bookmarks and I'm finding that certain stations are completely quiet, and others are looping messages in support of this protest:
Internet Radio Day of Silence
WMMR has a rather lengthy announcement by Pierre Robert looping: listen
And WMGK, another Greater Media station, is looping what sounds like a generic PSA: listen
Radio 104.5, however, continues to simulcast it's programming without interruption: listen
WYSP appears to be still streaming (apparently not as concerned as a full-time music station): listen
Another CBS station, WOGL, is still pumping out the oldies online: listen
As well as Radio One's 100.3 the Beat: listen
But Y-Rock on XPN are looping messages from Josh T. Landow: listen
...all in all, an interesting (but not unexpected) array of reactions from local broadcasters. What are your favorite streams doing on today's Day of Silence? How are they getting listeners involved? Are there any mentions being made on the terrestrial broadcasts?
