Phoenix Cable 11

The city of Phoenix channel (11) on my Cox analog cable has had
no audio--other than a "clicking" sound--since at least Saturday
morning.

I don't know if the problem is system-wide on Cox, or just the area
on my head-end, or just on analog, or what, but I have to believe
it's affecting at least some subscribers. I also don't know if the
problem is with the feed from the city plant to Cox, or within Cox.

This does tell me one of two things however:

1) Hardly anyone watches Cox 11 in Phoenix (hint for Phil--you are
looking for things to cut due to the city's budget crisis), so there's
been no complaints made to Cox.

OR

2) Cox Cable is so incompetent they don't realize one of their channels
is on the fritz. After 28+ hours. Techs at PHX 11 and Cox must have
each other's unlisted numbers. ???

Both may be true.

I dumped Cox several years ago after being out of service for several whole weekends and no way to get anyone at Cox to answer the phone.

I liked Cox better than satellite but it wasn't reliable.
