Even with rusty window frames, "T" missing, not the best paint job on the bricks, It looks better than a lot of AM sites nowdays.

Good thing: They do have what appears to be a free standing tower. IMHO once you get over the initial cost, if maintained properly a lot less hassle with no guy wires. It seem at least at least twice a decade someone with a bush hog hits and cuts or pulls on resulting in taking down a tower somewhere.

Curtis should be ashamed how they have ignored the appearance of WPTF transmitter site especially considering its highly visible location. It looked that bad 25 years ago when WPTF was a top rated station.

It’s a company trait. When the company owned several small town stations across North Carolina the chamber of commerce in one town asked them to do some cleaning up and improvements to its local station as it was embarrassment.
