Talk about burying the lead, Julius.

1210 program director Ed Palladino is leaving, according to the Daily News. They don't say why. They don't say where he's going. No indication what this might mean for 1210's future programming plans. All they say is Ed is getting out of radio.

Their details are sketchy on WPHT (ex-WCAU) and WOGL (ex-WCAU-FM) leaving NBC 10's building on City Line to join the other CBS properties in the city. I wonder how the troops feel about having to pay Philly wage tax. Maybe that's why Ed is leaving.

They don't say where he is going but they do say it's not in the radio business.

Also, they knew he'd be leaving for a while, but don't have a replacement ready.

Maybe they're selling the station? ;)

That's odd, didn't have a replacement ready. Something tells me that something's big is about to happen to WPHT. Perhaps a sale.

In order to keep clearance in Philly, the PD duties will be shared by Hannity and Rushbo! ;D

Especially Hannity. Thanks to Megan Kelly, he has more time on his hands now.
