I recognize that these are the 12+ ratings and 25-54 is what determines everything. Given what's been discussed here recently, I want to raise a few things.

Bonneville is rumored to be at least interested in CBS' Phoenix cluster. IMHO, they won't touch KOOL or KMLE as both fit B'ville well and are healthy ratings-wise. However, what might they do with KZON. I checked Bonneville's other stations and the closest they have to contemporary is WKRQ (Q-102) Cincinnati. That station has been in the CHR format for many years, so B'ville was probably reluctant to blow it up. They did add 90s to the CHR, however. KZON doesn't have nearly the history. It was mentioned elsewhere that the KZON calls are perfect for sports (maybe 101.5 The Sports Zone). KZON seems to be doing well against CC's KZZP in 12+. Of course, all this is moot if Bonneville doesn't buy the CBS cluster.

The other rumor is CC's KFYI moving to 95.5 FM and probably becoming Rush Radio. KFYI on AM appears to be doing quite well (12+) and is ahead of many powerful FM stations. KYOT (95.5 FM) is one of the last smooth jazz stations remaining in the country. KFYI is well ahead of KYOT in the 12+ ratings. Quite a quandry for CC! :)
