Another TVSpy story states that Phoenix Police PIO Detective Tony Morales is ticked at the local media after they broadcast the id and photo of a woman wanted as a lead in the prisoner escape from the State Mental Hospital last week. According to the post, the media received a press release from the Pima Sheriff Office with the name and photo of the woman. Phoenix PD had contacted the Pima Shreiffs Office for assistance since the woman was thought to live in the Tucson area.

Morales was pi$$ed that he was not contacted for approval before the information was release on the local news segments.

Can anyone confirm this story and the pi$$ing match between Morales and the local media?
