... the station deserves every ounce of publicity it gets here. this afternoon, i was amazed with 5 solid hours of old school doo wop with ned richards and now pickle is on the air playing CLASSIC country, not the pop country crap on the cat. i haven't heard some of these tunes in decades. harper valley pta, johnny cash, lynn anderson. i have the radio blasting out the back window. the neighbor came over. thought he was going to yell at me to turn it down. instead he said 'what the hell are you listening to! this is great! make it louder!!!!"

all these people that say WGPA's signal sucks and can't be heard past the parking lot ... what kind of radio are you guys using? one of those 'make your own crystal set radios' at radio shack?? i can pick up the station in my car as far as Reading, PA ... 40 miles away and in a building a good 30 miles away. their daytime signal is just as good as fox sports 1470 although i will admit not quite as good as WAEB-AM.

as for the fact that people on here post too much about WGPA, i've said it before, i'll say it again ... maybe that's because WGPA is the only station in the valley actually doing something worth talking about. dude! WLEV just played Nickelback for the 47th time today! wooo!!
 
WLEV has been better in recent months. The only problem is Delilah. That woman is awful. I was at the laundromat on friday night and the owner was not in. I usually yell at him to turn it off and he's afraid of me so he adheres to my wishes. But, he was'nt in friday and I had to be subjected to that garbage. Who are these people that call the show? They are jabronies! "OH, Delilah Im with my sister playing cards." "Ohhh!"
 
who's listening on AM anymore?? besides the spanish people listening to HOLA 1600 ??
 
mothing wrong with listening to AM, its the FM stuff thats gotten boring. Its nice to see that WGPA can make things work that all the others have blown off and said won't work! And its still amazing that someone hasn't picked up oldies FULLTIME in that area.
