Picking up Birmingham FMs tonight in Nashville

Not really that big of a deal, but while driving in South Nashville tonight, I was able to pick up 106.9 the Eagle, (they were playing "You Give Love a Bad Name), 103-7 The Q, Classic Rock 99.5 and WJOX 94.5. Huntsville coming in cystal clear (almost) (Star 99.1) and others just north of Brentwood. That never happens! So may be a good night to DX in other places around Nashville.

I saw the same from this end in the Florida panhandle. Strong Alabama stations and 94.7 WGSQ "The Country Giant" from Cookeville, TN was fairly strong for a short while last night. Atlanta FM's came in shortly after. Tennessee FM's are rather rare from this far.

Back in 1985, when I lived a little more south of Nashville towards the state line, I picked up a bunch of Florida
panhandle stations...mostly from Pensacola. 100.7, 101.5, and a couple others. They all came in crystal clear for hours.

106.9 The Eagle is an amazingly strong signal, it's loud and clear pretty much 24/7 here just below the TN/AL line, and I've easily heard it up I-65 to Pulaski and beyond
