I was looking through some post back from 04' and I would like to know who may have any photos of old radio facilties in Jacksonville?? Also any old pics of logos from any station will be a big help. I have by luck found a couple of Y-103 pics on the web but they are logos. Also any call sign history and format history for any station will be a big help. I did print off some of the info from past post which will help me get started in building the histories. If you want to post them here or email them to me at [email protected]

hahahaha

I just had a flashback to when channel 17 crossed out the ABC meatball on its building with red spray paint back in 1996.

Mburg, please clarify what all you are willing to take. I have a few photos, one sheets, and airchecks. Most of my broadcasting junk comes from the TV side, but I may still be able to help you with your radio project. Let me know and I'll email you next week.

I do have the "ABC" meatball with the traffic-sign style red circle and slash spray painted over it at the WJKS 17 Now WJWB 17 Studio/Transmitter building at Hogan Rd, Jax. And other station photos, mostly exteriors from the 90s and Today (hey almost sounds like a format catchphrase). My PC is under repair with my stuff in it. Will keep you in mind, am happy to help out a broadcast history site by sharing my materials!! Tommy can vouch for my personal collection he got to look through. That cardboard over the Gator sign would seem to be an instant classic!
