Ok, I got the camera out and wanted to give early views of the studio and then when the weather gets a little sunnier I'll take some pics of the transmitter and it's tower along with the FM antenna...

The close-up picture shows the Pico Macom PCFM transmitter which made headlines on this board!

Very nice setup. Many commercial stations are not that organized.

What are you using for your audio processing? I was trying to see from the pictures, but couldn't tell what it was.

For the processing I use Nvidia for equalization, and Broadcast DJ for the automation, sometimes I'll use Station Playlist for automotion and Sound Solutions as the audio processor. I only use the Beringher Composer compressor during recording or making on air ads/annoucements.... pretty simple but the main star is the PCFM, it's processing is equivalent to a regular broadcast transmitter, same unit I use at the high school, not a single artifact of hum or noise, it's amazing after song ends... there is silence, I turn up the volumne on the on air tuner to check the quality of the signal... there is silence... sweet!

Thanks, I'll look for it... I use the Optimod S/Expander preset with 95% output level (prevents clipping), and the sound is outstanding... good preset, there are others too, I recomend anyone to use the Sound Solutions... if you're not using it, do so!

Wicked setup, I like the side by side monitors, excellent when doing internet searches, research, news, etc. I see you are using the Radio Shack mixer similar to what I'm using, Emachines, they ROCK!

I tried Directorie automation, that is what I see on the screen, but couldn't get the kids to understand it.

haha thanks! I got that Radio Shack mixer on sale, works well. The mic boom I have there, holding that mic up, is a 3 dollar lamp, worked PERFECTLY for a mic boom and for like 70 bucks off what I would've spent on a pro one.

I have 2 Emachines in here (3 and 6 years old, respectively!), both of those run my AM and FM. The one I use for internet and random stuff is a custom build, perfect for gaming! Also used for my production work. The third computer is the AM automation,the side by side is the FM one.

The processor looks like it is almost exact to yours.. I got an Autocom Pro MDX 1400. I use mine for the FM station, along with an on computer reverb adjustment, sounds VERY good, almost like a Pro station. I wish that there was some way to run Sound Solution with Direttore, that would help the FM sound MUCH better. The AM has on board processing, outside. It sounds good as well.

GAH didn't expect to type this much!

Your station STILL looks cleaner and better than mine however, I wish my studio would be like that! :)

You have been taken to the bank!!!!! Heehee

I paid 2 dollars each for the 2 mic booms you see in my set up, they too are lamp booms that I converted for holding the mics, stronger springs, if you get a chance try out that Sound Solution, great stuff!
