Pierce criticizes WTKK in Boston Globe mag.

The Sunday magazine of the paper Michael Graham calls "The Boston Globe-Democrat" has
a column by Charles Pierce in which he says the "talk radio evolution" just down the street
from the Globe building is just more of the same.

http://www.boston.com/bostonglobe/magazine/articles/2008/04/27/lend_me_your_earplugs/

He calls Graham a halfwit, Eagan & Braude "apologetic demi-liberals" and he refers to the sage of
Sag Harbor and a certain nighttime host who "sounds like she's shouting her program from the
porch of a three decker in Revere".

OK Chuck, let's see YOU host a show :)

I always love reading Charlie Pierce's piece in the Globe Magazine. I like him better than most of the columnists in the Boston "Herald-Republican." I'd love to hear Charlie on the radio on a regular basis although I don't think he's well suited to the "guy" sports radio on WEEI.

Boston Globe Communist
Is this noncents really neccessary?
I don't particularly like WTKK but find triple decker shouter kind of entertaining in an atavistic kind of way. Would I put up with the same style/accent from a male? I don't think so.
* Before the network dumped everyone over 40, Charlie was a semi-regular on ESPNr and he has the NPR quiz gig.

Here is my favorite part:
"how is WTKK different from the festival of sniggering Caucasians over on the AM?"

Mr. Pierce has not heard Reese "The Crossover Negro" Hopkins I guess. (dear moderator that is how Reese bills himself on the air so please don't accuse me of racism)

Also Mr. Peirce's use of british slang doesn't read well here in the colonies. Any word with "nigg" in it usually doesn't come across well here in America, even if it means snickering.

If Imus said that, would HE be accused of racism?
