Piers Morgan Bailing "America's Got Talent"

He announced it on his CNN show tonight. The reason for his departure is so that he can concentrate on his CNN show.

"Big thanks to NBC, Fremantle, and of course, my friend Simon Cowell, for giving me such a great opportunity," he tweets. "It's been a blast."

So the Simon Cowell clone that NBC hires to be a judge on their "American Idol" ripoff show is leaving. "America's Got Talent"'s got no chance of seeing 2013.

Wonder if the show will keep its TV-PG rating once Howie comes on board.

I hear Howard Stern is being approached about the job...I think I'm done watching

Thought AGT was a hit because it was so family friendly. Howard Stern will probably want to make a stipulation on any contract he signs that he can do whatever he wants to do on the show. Doubt that he'll want to take "network notes". I don't think it'll happen.
