Thank you brother. I'll definitely send an e-mail your way. I pick up my final paycheck from this last gig of mine tomorrow, so I'm definitely looking to make a few bucks.

Thank you for your 2 cents! It was worth much more to me, I'm glad to see that there are more people that worked there that don't see Doc as a bad guy. One of my favorite stories about Dr. Flinn is when I bought a new car. We had an airstaff meeting at 6:30pm and at that time I was in middle of buying a new car, so I was late for the meeting. It was only my second meeting with him. As I entered the conference room, he was seated at the head of the table and looked over as I approached the door. He said “Come on in Mitch, I’ve had time to talk to everyone else because YOU’RE LATE!” As I walked around behind him and to take a seat he asked “Where are you from?” Not realizing he had already asked everyone else the same question I looked at my feet and said Frayser. I said that as I tossed my keys on the table. He saw the tag on the keys and asked if I had a new car. “Yes Sir, that’s why I was late, I was between my old one and the new one.” He asked what kind I had bought, I had looked at several and I was nervous because I was late to the meeting so I picked up the keys and read from the tag. “A ‘99 Cougar 5 speed” I said. He looked at me for a second and said “Boy you are from Frayser” (because I was so stupid I had to read which car I bought). The whole room broke up in laughter, it was funny as hell and it broke the tension in the room. I think I laughed harder than anyone and from that point he knew he could tease me (he did often after that) and I could take it. Between the music, the promotions and doing mornings working there was one of the highlights of my years in radio. Thank you all for your thoughts; it’s been fun talking about the Pig with you all.
