How long before GN becomes a stodgy old station again?

Have they ever been anything else?

Seeing as how Methany's moves basically alienated the 80-dead demo, and how apparently little of the moves actually worked to build a younger audience (which was supposedly his goal) - it's probably worse than just a stodgy old station now.

Just released Arbitron ratings for Chicago...(Top Two Stations, below)
September 2010 October 2010 November 2010
Station AQH % Cume AQH % Cume AQH % Cume Format Owner
WBBM-AM 5.7 1,722,000 6.2 1,972,100 6.2 1,903,200 News CBS
WGN-AM 5.0 1,056,100 4.6 992,600 5.1 999,700 Talk Tribune
A question for all the "Pig Vomit" and Randy Michaels nay sayers: how do you explain how those two could be such imbeciles while WGN was consistantly #2 or #3 under their leadership?

GN was tied with WKQX and WVIV for 20th in November... pretty consisten with recent results for this station.

Check the demo breakdown.

And the 12+ had been going down steadily over the last several months--I would assume the election was responsible for the spike.

It also seems to me that Metheny was fired on the last day of the November book or the first day of the December book.
