Pimp My Ride on Speed Channel

I was just flipping channels and came on Speed Channel which is airing a Pimp My Ride marathon. Whats funny is that they beep the MTV parts but not all. They beep out where they say thank you MTV. But at the end credits it says MTV Networks. Also I did a search for Pimp My Ride On Speed and came across the Speet Channel message boards and people that watch the network seem to not like it.

When scanning through my TV, I saw it too. While I am not a fan of MTV in general, I do like this show, and I think SPEED is a perfect place for it. I am actually very surprised that Viacom didn't dump this show on Spike TV. This makes me wonder if SPEED will eventually get CMT's old reruns of Trick My Truck.

I also found it odd that they do mention MTV throughout the show, but at the end, they mute out MTV when the people are thanking them for Pimpin' Their Ride. I also seen from time to time in the corner mentioning "Series Premire" of Pimp My Ride on Feb. 16 or 17th... can't remember which one. Looks like SPEED is getting new episodes too.

Your right it would of went well on Spike TV. They could put it on Saturdays during the other car shows they air. Other then that Spike TV is full of CSI and CSI NY reruns. With A&E having CSI Miami which sucks as Viacom couldn't have all three shows on their channel.
