Pink Floyd's Rick Wright

This came from R&R, founding Pink Floyd member Richard Wright has died at age 65 from a battle with cancer. What a shame, he was really good at the keyboards. Any thoughts??

This is a sad day. Rick had a way of making the simplest of keyboard parts sound incredibly complex. Dark Side of the Moon is the most sonically perfect album ever made and Rick on the keys helped make it so. The Floyd is one of my favorites and its sad that I have lost one of my musical heroes.
Rest well Rick, rest well.

Back in the day, when Dallas had a ROCK radi station, with real DJs, and real programming.... the passing of Richard Wright, would have engedered a tribute show and discussion that evening.....

So true, I remember when John Entwistle died and the #1 Classic Rock station where I was living at the time went wall-to-wall Who for six hours, fielding phone calls in between songs. The only downside to that was the idiot DJ whose response to the question, 'Why are you playing so much Who?' was, "I dunno, some bass player died."
