PINK SLIPS CC Tucson

Probably the hardest working people in that building will be let go. That's how they do at CC. They keep the highest-paid clowns that hardly pull their own weight.
I hate to see anybody lose their job. No matter how bad they screwed me over.

Today is January 20th...

Looks like no news is good news for CC Tucson, unless someone knows differently.

Very sad day for the CC stations in San Diego with 40 people being let go.

How did our neighbors in PHX make out?

I wonder if any good sales people were let go.

Quality sales people are often hard to find.

As far as Clear is concerned, if they went bankrupt maybe their stations would be bought by local owners who give a ____.

Alan Michaels and Joan Lee from KWFM 1450, as well as CC Outdoor
guy Dave Sitton, who also voices some U of A sports on (I assume)
the current rights holder which is no longer Cheap Channel.

About 14 in total were cut, per today's Arizona Daily Star:

As I post this, there are already 78 comments by on-line readers
(link at bottom of story)--some taking shots at those "three guys"
on "three-letter radio" in the morning.

...I was at KXCI's offices today and told that one of ChumpChannel's salespeople offerd to "sell for KXCI on a commission basis." So much for KXCI being a "community" outfit if they took him up on it...

Dave Sitton makes USA Today with a picture! (9/2). Interesting article.
