Pioneer Supertuner radios

It have been brought to my attention regarding to the Pioneer SuperTuner IIId which you can listen to any station without any interference. I looked at their another posting on the DX board and someone can pick up a station 200 miles away from another location. Our car radio doesn't have that feature. If I am correct, it would be the most advanced and expensive AM/FM car radio than any other ordinary radio.

For example, if I want to pick up WKTU 103.5 in the Philadelphia area, would the Supertuner be able to pick up their signal, since their transmitter is 90 miles away from New York City? Also, if I am traveling the PA turnpike northbound and locked on 98.1 WOGL from Philadelphia, would the signal be stable and not fade out when I'm 20 miles north past the Allentown area?

I just want to know if anyone ever had any experience with the Pioneer Supertuners.

It's a good radio...but it's not magic.
If the signal isn't there, a SuperRadio can't give it to you.<P ID="signature">______________

As for specific reception questions, I can't answer them if I don't live there. I can tell you that the Pioneer can bring in stations that no other car radio can bring in. It will make the most of what signal is available, but no station over the horizon will be receivable without fading / picket fencing / atmospherics of some sort.

The original analog Pioneer SuperTuners from the mid-1970's with the round dial and cassette deck were amazing!

The digital tuning ones have been good throughout the years as well.
