Pirate? 88.1 in Pelham/Alabaster area

I've heard this every day this week when I arrive for work around 8 AM. Someone in stereo on 88.1 with uncensored Howard Stern audio. At first I thought it might be an unusually high powered satellite radio-to-FM transmitter, but I'm less certain now. Anyone else hearing this?

What part of Alabaster/Pelham are you hearing it? I'll be up in that area this afternoon, around the Colonade. I'll see if I can hear it when out that way.

I hear it every morning at around 8 AM right around the Pelham/Alabaster line on Hwy 31 (where the Staples/Big Lots/Food Depot shopping center is.)

I was traveling up I-65 going north this afternoon around 4:45, and I did hear a signal on 88.1 between the Alabaster and Hwy 52 exits. Just a few seconds worth but there was definitely something there and in stereo...no audio though. That sounds close to the area you mentioned.
