Rumor has it, from a reliable source that the FCC will be making a bust this weekend on an FM pirate radio station operating in the Poughkeepsie area.

More to follow...

The FCC working on the weekend?

Unless the PIRATE station is causing MAJOR interference to a LICENSED station, the Enforcement Division doesn't work on weekends.

Why do you think many pirates operate from late Friday afternoon to early Monday morning?

Now THIS is what the Albany market needs - a great PIRATE station!

When I was in New York City the weekend before last I counted SIX on the FM dial playing everything from Underground to Hip Hop to "revolutionary talk radio" which took calls! (Turns out they were using one of those pre-paod cellphones to field calls froim listeners!)

PIRATES! WHERE ARE YE???
