Pirate Cat Radio Returns ... In Pescadero

San Francisco's Pirate Cat Radio, which was busted a while back for illegally emitting radio waves, is returning to the air in lovely Pescadero, through the kind courtesy of Pescadero Public Radio Service's KPDO (89.3 FM).

KPDO is licensed for 100 skin-tingling watts, with a CP in the hopper for a three-fold increase.

Wasn't the café that this station was run out of featured on Food Network's Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives? Or am I thinking of some other food porn show?

Close -- it was on an episode of "Nooooooooooo Reservations" (the porniest of the foodie shows) with my friend Tony Bourdain, during which he visited San Francisco. He spent quite a bit of time in the cafe, and was interviewed on the air, as it were.
