Pirate in Decatur?

When we first enter Decatur from the east from Denton, always on 99.5, some spanish s___comes barging in. Is there a pirate or just a very low power transmitter?

I agree with Liberty... they're pretty dumb if they try to blast over KPLX! ;D
No, I mean they just blast over big time. They interfere with KPLX with the s___ winning.

Can you hear it in "downtown" Decatur? Or what part of town? How many miles can you go before they fade out again?
I can hear it near and in the square and at least 1 mile away to the south and east. There's a tower near the courthouse but I don't think that has anything to do with it.

Fix your radio. There's nothing on 99.5 in Decatur. At the square or otherwise. Congrats, eskipper411, you've lost your credibility on this forum!

And Eskipper now owes Avenger about $35 in gas. :-[

Nah, the pirate was reading this thread and KNEW the Avenger was headed his way...and shut the power off!!

Nope, didn't waste any gas. Went up to a transmitter site up that way to run some errands. Just swung through downtown on the way out to the tower. Speaking of, Mike, I chased a turkey out of the grass at the transmitter... he said to tell you hi. Actually it was more like "gobblegobblegobble" but that's my translation :)

I didn't know what it was it could have been DX or something else but don't blame me for a simple mistake.
