Pirate on 107.9

There are so many pirates on 107.9 now. Just 6 years ago I remember I could hear WEBE 108 well in NE NJ even without tropo.

WEBE 108 fighting with "we be jammin".Now, that's an interesting battle. ::)

This is the same guy out of East Orange ,he jumps around alot 96.7,103.9,107.9 a few frequencies that he uses I guess to avoid getting caught, well hes still on !

Jamminz moved to 99.9 when K-Love announced that they're going after him, but a week later he moved back to 96.7. There already was another pirate or two on 99.9.

With 106.7's IBUZ off, I could pick up Streetz 106.5 in Manhattan! Now that's some serious power.

Well, he certainly can't stay on 96.7!

And K-Love can't stay on 96.7 either. That signal needs to be forced to move back to Connecticut where it used to be.

If K-Love and Jamminz Radio can't share, then one must be removed and it will be K-Love regardless if they hold a license or not.

Take that with you.

Foolish talk BJ Steigner.
Un licensed pirate/station has no leg to stand on
up against a station licensed by the Federal Goverment to be on 96.7mhz
located in NY or CT.

How about this...

Pirate radio does have legs to stand on..But it's corporate radio who tries and successfully chops down every leg.

Pirate radio serves the community corporate radio doesn't.

This is the biggest protest against licensed operators. Why be forced to listen to corporate corrupted radio when you can listen to pirate radio which serves your area and offers LOCAL advertising???

Corporate radio is still bellyaching about losing an audience share...THEN GO LOCAL STUPID AND STOP VOICETRACKING TO CUT COST!

Agreed, but that costs money.

There was has been pirate on 107.9 in Peekskill a few Saturday nights a month. Same carribean flavor I suppose, but oddly some 70's R&B mixed in.

Well said, Ed. Well said. :D

I can't even dignify such a foolish comment as his with a rebuttal beyond this one.

I thought Pirate didn't have legs to stand on or at least not two, isn't one usually wooden?

That's probably why they suck at baseball (just ask Pittsburgh)! ::)
