Anybody heard this before? They were playing underground uncensored hip hop (only able to recognize a Wu Tang song) at about 11pm Sunday night. I was able to pick it up from the CBD until a little past the highrise bridge on 1-10 headed out to Slidell.

Could have been someone driving nearby you with an iPod transmitter for their car.

I think you guys are right. There is some kind of pirate on 88.7 FM. Last night I listened to them with a pretty clear signal near the river. As I drove away from the river, it got weaker.

Now today I listened to them for over an hour and I heard NO identification or moniker if any. Music just keeps playin and playin...... and dirty music at that! Quite a few of their songs had the "N", the "A", the "F", and the "S" words, etc in them!!! I dunno who's broadcasting it or what it is, but there is definitely a station broadcasting on that frequency. Go near the river and you'll hear 'em!<P ID="signature">______________

Now they were still broadcasting today, but dead air. Anyone know what's the deal with this station?!

They were playing some filthy music on that little station! I heard them over the weekend and I couldn't listen. It was too wild.

Funny, they are barely modulating, if any. lol The station's "on-air volume" is so low, you have to turn them up. When you do that, the static is too overpowering. lol
