Pirate on 95.3 and KODA's audio

AHHH NO!!! YOU HEARD Y95!!! DIRECT!!! It happens...BUT what I heard LAST SUNDAY, ONE WEEK/7DAYS AGO, was NOT Y95 because the band was NOT open and they were MONO and playing spanish format...NOT country that Y95.3 does...
I worked in Dallas and Houston markets...I know the signals and what I hear....YOU heard Y95...not unusual....102.9 Houston would COVER up KDMX MIX 102.9 in Garland or Fort Worth easily during the summer...and there was nothing we could do about it!!

Yeah I agree with you it was not country it was Radio Aleluya!!!

i was listening on the way home the other night and at 610 and 45 South I heard Radio Aleluya on 95.3 as you did CW. Then the next night I heard them on 95.1 and not on 95.3.

Talking about bands opening, it has been killing us in the mornings this past week or so. I have been looking at the forcast site and it does moderate for ducting. In most cases the sites forcasts have been right on. This past week I feel like the we were getting a little more than moderate.

Yes - it was frustrating to me... Every time I can find a good channel to play my MP3 player on - up pops another religious and/or spanish station...

I almost want to say - hey FCC - provide a "clear" channel in the FM band in "full" markets for use like MP3 transmitters...

And yes, I do listen to local radio, but every once in a while, I need to clear out the stuff on the MP3 player...

I gave up on that, to many stations around so I went ahead and payed extra for an iPod adapter to the stereo.

IF you can find a unit that can tune to 87.9, thats the spot to use....in areas with TV 6, after Feb 17, 2009, it will be even better :)
