Pirate on 99.1 at Exit 13

Hey does anyone know who the pirate is on 99.1 near exit 13 of the northway? seems to be tracking a cd....

Not a pirate, it's a translator (W256BU) currently under testing (running WQSH's audio right now) :)

It was formerly on 105.5 then went silent when 105.7 moved in from Glens Falls, and was owned by WNGN (Northeast Gospel Network) and was sold recently :)

Yes, I'm aware of w256bu, but there is this signal up by exit 13 that interferes with it...... that is what i am curious about......

You are correct...That pirate has been there for a few years too. He used to re-broadcast a Sirius radio feed in the past...

Wonder what will end up on 99.1? Does Crush FM's 90s format move to 99.1 and 105.7 HD2 and the new format launch on 105.7 analog/HD1? Crush is currently lowest ranked of Townsquare's Albany stations unfortunately...

I've found some other frequencies that could work for translators: 89.5 (noncom only), 106.9, 98.7, 107.3, 97.1 maybe?, and 99.9 :)
