Pirate Radio In Paterson?

I listen to 90.7 WFUV from the Bronx on my way home from work, however when I drive home on I-80 through Paterson I get washed out from a station on 90.5. I don't know if it's a pirate station, but for about three miles I can barely get WFUV, being inundated by Reggaeton, and everything around the frequency is also washed out. Can anyone give me any info on this?

The only thing anywhere near Patterson on 90.5 is WJSV, the Morristown High School station. That couldn't be it. Just another dumb pirate.

That "dumb pirate" has been on the air for a while, there is another Reggae pirate on 90.1 FM. In the last couple months, I've heard pirates on 87.9, 90.1, 90.5, 91.9, 92.9, 94.1, 95.1, 96.1, 96.5, 99.9, 102.3, and 104.7. They have a lot of nerve airing their pirates on frequencies adjacent to the local NYC stations.

Brooklyn NY has a ton of pirate stations on weeknights and weekends.

88.1, 88.5, 88.9, 89.1, 89.3, 90.1, 90.5, 90.9, 91.9, 94.3, 95.1, 95.9, 96.7, 97.5, 99.9, 101.5, 102.3, 103.1, 103.9, 104.7, 106.3, 107.9

It's gotten so bad that I just gave up on the FCC.

90.5 comes on as a pirate station in that area, under the callin fuego 90.5fm its a dominican format station, which has been hit at least 2 times by the fcc but nothing really happened with it!

Drop WFUV a line. They probably already know about it, but they'll appreciate hearing from you. After all, you won't support them if you can't hear them.
