Pirate Radio w/ Chris Sheppard

I found some very awesome clips of his show on YouTube recently, and man, KILLER stuff! He definitely sounds more British than Canadian (I believe he was born in Jamaica)! Haha! Quick questions: what stations was he on? And wasn't he on in the US at all? Also, how long was this show on?

I know a few of 'em were CIDC, CIGO (where was this?), CKZZ, CHIQ, CKKL and CIOO.

Also, to add to this, what other syndicated shows come out of Canada? I ask because there seem to not be a lot except for Charles Adler, Mauler & Rush and The 20.

I believe Sheppard's show was on CKEY 101.1 Niagara, which would give it coverage in Buffalo also. Previously, Sheppard was also a part of the great CFNY Toronto, along with David Marsden and a host of other great talent.

CIGO in Port Hawkesbury, Nova Scotia.

Not sure if there were any American market affiliates, but Chris Speppard's show was syndicated all across Canada. By the mid 90s, he was pretty much on in every market. I used to listen to him on CKZZ in Vancouver and CKIS in Calgary. That guy pretty much turned the Canadian dance scene upside down and was the hottest DJ in the country at the time and put out quite a few mixtapes. He's since retired and aside from the odd release in the early/mid 2000s, has kept a pretty low profile.

As far as I know, he was born in Jamaica and grew up in Canada. He's not British. :)

Jack FM Toronto at one point had Chris Sheppard on for a short time on week-ends.
I think it was a special retro show of some sort.

Sheppard's program was never syndicated outside Canada.
