Thats what one of their sweepers says. Do you want a Diva, Energy has got one for ya,,, Its Pistol Pete on Energy ect ect.... Now I expect this on Energy in San Francisco, But should a Phoenix station make so many gay references on the air? I dont know, maybe Phoenix has a pretty high Gay population, I dont know. How has Energy been doing in the arbs lately,,, I know you cant post the exact numbers, but have they been making progress, Holding steady, or are they sliding,, Havent heard much about Energy AZs numbers lately. Playlist sounds pretty good.

They don't even show up
You can see the 12+ numbers here

If I recall correctly, that's because they technically aren't in the Phoenix market.<P ID="signature">______________

They are liscensed to Payson, which is outside of Phoenix, but I think for all intents and purposes they are considered to be part of the Phoenix market.
I guess Arbitron does not include them in that list?

KNRJ does the best that they can with the people and equipment involved with the station. They will drop out of a book or two from time to time because of the small sampling. It happened to me in a couple of trends while I was stearing the ship to a more female/mainstream audience.

I thought I saw recent ratings for Flagstaff that had them at #10.

As long as the station is billing the same or more from when I was shown the door, they'll be ok.

Arbitron should list numbers for whomever shows up in the diary data for a given market, regardless of where the city of license is. If someone in Phoenix manages to pick up, say, KRQ out of Tucson, and they write it in the book - it's part of the Arbitron data. Doesn't matter that it's already in another market or not "formally" part of the PHX radio market. Numbers are always going to be affected somewhat because of diary placement. When you have a relatively small audience with a rimshot signal like Energy does, something like that can have a huge impact (as Mikeosays below in the thread). Energy's only hitting a portion of the eastern valley metro, so they have to rely on whatever part of the Arbitron audience that's listening there. In central Phoenix and the West Valley... forget it. Nothing but static on 101.1 and 92.7 over that way. It would be really nice to see what Energy could do on a full-market signal.

How does Energy 92.3 or Energy 104.7 sound, for a full market signal?
