What a surprise, Anarchy in the UK on MMR at 6:05 last evening, funny it was played at the same time on RFF a week ago. Looks like RFF is having a real impact on MMR, we all know they have been tweaking since RFF and YSP have joined the game. MMR is sampling both stations and playing the music that both embrace, call it copy-ing or finally realizing what they are doing will not cut it anymore since they are not the only game in town.
 
Check MMR'S rating they have slowly declined since RFF and YSP Entered the game, Again I will state here that I think if YSP assembles a solid morning show WMMR is in trouble, P&S are successful due to the lack of serious morning talent.

MMR is still the best... and the most famous...who else has A-Z, and host great cheap concerts (MMR-BQ-2)

Wow, coming from someone as big a Hawk fan as yourself, that speaks volumes. Especially given you didn't start a separate thread stating this fact. 8)
 
Hmmm..."who else has A-Z, and host great cheap concerts?"

Uh...almost every rock station nationwide! I love when people actually believe some of the crap they are fed via the airwaves. Like MMR are the only ones to do A-Z? That is one of the most overused cliche's in rock radio. And, every station has cheap concerts...keep in mind, the station is most likely not the one picking up the difference on the listeners discount. Oh, and I always find it believeable (sound effects and all) when Pierre goes to the MMR-chives and plays tracks from "vinyl."

I sure hope that comment was meant to be taken with a bit of sarcasm.

Preston and Steve are not what they seem to be. They may be #1, and i'll give them full credit for that. But, they became #1 in a recycled market. The morning shows in the Philadelphia market consist of John Debella and Chio.

Preston and Steve utilize garbage off the bit boards, including the "infamous bizzaro files" which you could find in the Yahoo weird news section. I honestly believe that Steve is funny at times, but Preston is a hack from St. Louis, and their hole is extactly that... a HOLE!

The market lacks morning talent, and Hack and Steve benefit from that.

I hate to bash anyone who is successful, and I admire them for being successful, but seriously you can grab a "special person" to play the role of Preston and any broad to play the role of their hole.

Pierre' may be a legend, but I have a funny feeling that his yapping will lead to a huge ratings decline. If YSP can find a decent morning show, (not Kidd Chris) he is another hack who steals material, but a decent morning show, with a mid-day jock who doesn't do dirty things to his girly named dog, YSP or RFF, for that matter could easily over take MMR in the ratings.

In the afternoons MMR feeds a fake to the audience. Jaxon the afternoon jock acts as if he lived in the market for years. His awful voice, and fake radio are hidious. It's a shame, because I always rooted for MMR growing up. I always wanted to see the legendary rocker make a comeback, but now, I see them as a winner by default with "fake radio" talent on their airwaves.

Matt Cord is awesome by the way. And his ex-wife is a piece of ....! Good for you Matt. I'd do dirty things to her, oh, nevermind... this next line would get deleted.

But, Matt is the best thing that MMR has going for them at this point.
 
Jim, unless i'm misreading your post, it came across to me as being extremely sexist and ignorant. Pick all the hateful statements out of your post and it becomes a pretty legitimate argument, but you discredit yourself with all the other stuff. Good going.
