Pistons fire Monty Williams after 1 season

He did his job and tanked the season. Not his fault that the lottery balls didn't pop out in the Pistons' favor. If they'd gotten first pick, this guy would still have his job.

He have 5 years left on his contract. His contract was supposed to expire after the 2028-2029 NBA season.
 
I thought Monte Williams would've gotten another year was surprised by the firing truth be told being late and the NBA draft happening on Wed.
