Pitbull/Ken Y "Dime"

Possibly one of the worst songs I've heard in a long time. The Ken-Y dude can't sing and Pitbull is an average rapper. Don't know why stations are jumping on it so fast.

That's it right there....you said it yourself it's not a good song. It's not about how good a song is, kids these days for the most part are'nt looking for good, soulful vocals or quality music. It's all about if it's catchy, or even simple. Remember D4L Laffy Taffy...the worst song ever and it was huge! NB Ridaz in alot of markets (Latin leaning stations) phones don't stop for em. Look right now at some of the biggest records....

This is Why Im Hot- Mims
Lies- MC Magic
Throw Some D's- Rich Boy
We Fly High- Jim Jones

a few examples of catchy hooks, beats, etc.

A good programmer will not listen to Tell Me (Dime) by Pitbull and ask himself if he/she likes it, he/she will listen and ask if it is a record the stations listeners will like, but that's a given did'nt mean to state the ovious and go back to radio school lol.

These days the worse it is the better it will do...

Yep, those four suck too. Wait, I like the Rich Boy song, although it definitely rips off older songs, like T.I.'s "What You Know" and Game's "Hate It Or Love It".
